New Blog Series: “Hello! My name is Pepper and I’m a Bad Dog.”

I know we’ve been quiet over here during the holidays, but we’re back at the blogging now.  For the New Year I have a new blog segment revolving around Pepper.  I’ve posted a few Instagram photos of Pepper when she is “busted” for doing something wrong and I decided this might make for a fun blog segment.  Previous Instagram photos have involved stealing whole blocks of cheese from the counter, rolling around in clean laundry soaking wet after jumping in the shower, shredding her holiday sweater, and decapitating an innocent stuffed unicorn.  So, I now give you today’s installment:

Hello!  My name is Pepper and I’m a Bad Dog.

Today my person took me for a nice, long walk by the river.  I had lots of fun.  Then I threw up all over the backseat on my person’s car, ate most of my vomit before my person could stop me, and then promptly washed it down with toilet water when I got home (again, before I could be stopped).  Afterwards I tried to give my person a sneak attack kiss and she was none-too-impressed.  I do not understand why she does not accept my love.

I will try to be a good dog tomorrow.

  1. Let pepper know her step sister izzy the treeing walker coonhound Weimaraner mix from Ohio is giving her a run for her money on destruction.

  2. Could I adopt one? I have a Blue-tick Coonhound that is desperately looking for a friend. I understand if Pepper is yours, but I would be up for the “challenge.” Contact me at (716)-200-7696. Thanks, Katie😀

    • Haha sorry Katie, Pepper isn’t going anywhere. Even though she is a “bad dog”, it’s mostly that she’s just into everything at all times because that’s how hounds are. I’ll be posting soon updates about our adventures on walks. She has become a great running partner for me, and of course we always stop half way through for some off leash time and a swim in the river. Maybe she’ll be a triathlete when she grows up. Haha.
